Terms of Service – Koma Manga Downloader

These terms apply to the browser extension Koma – Free Manga Downloader ("Koma") and the website komadownload.com, together "the service". Koma is developed and operated by an independent individual developer under the name Koma ("we", "us"). By installing Koma or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Koma is free. It helps you save manga chapters and images from webpages you visit, for reading offline. We may change, pause or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including the list of supported websites.

2. Your license to use Koma

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Koma for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not sell, rent or charge for Koma. You may not distribute modified copies of Koma under the Koma name, or use the service in a way that harms others or the service itself.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you download with Koma and what you do with it. In particular, you agree to:

save only content you are allowed to access, and follow the terms of the websites you use;
respect copyright and the rights of creators and publishers, and keep what you save for your own personal reading;
not share, upload, sell or otherwise redistribute content you saved, unless the rights holder allows it;
not use Koma to get around paywalls, access controls, copy protection or rate limits. Koma is built not to, and attempts to make it do so are not allowed;
not use Koma to place unreasonable load on any website, for example through automated bulk downloading.

4. Third-party websites and content

Koma works with websites run by others. Koma is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. All manga, artwork and other content belongs to its creators and publishers. Koma does not host, store or provide any of it. Third-party websites may change at any time, which can stop Koma from working with them. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

5. Our intellectual property

The Koma name, logo, mascot and this website's design belong to us. Other names and logos shown on this website belong to their owners and appear only to identify the websites Koma works with.

6. Copyright concerns

Koma does not host manga or other third-party content. If you believe something on komadownload.com infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the details and we will look into it promptly.

7. No warranty

The service is provided free, "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that Koma will work with any particular website, be free of errors, or save every page completely.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files or content, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Responsibility for misuse

If your use of Koma breaks these terms or someone else's rights, you are responsible for the claims that result. This includes claims from rights holders or website operators.

10. Ending use

You can stop using Koma at any time by removing the extension. If you break these terms, your license to use Koma ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the developer of Koma lives, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
